The Battle of The Coolest Magazine

So Teacher Azizah had organized a magazine-making (is that even a legit term) contest between the IB classes and BT83 is pretty excited about it. I, of course, volunteered to design the cover for our class's magazine, and here's what I got after literally squeezing my brain for ideas and inspiration.

I'm pretty happy with the final result, though my classmates had yet to give any response to it. Oh well.

I didn't expect that I have to conduct a research on how to design a magazine cover, and I actually learnt a lot, even now knowing terms such as masthead and... yep, just that. Masthead. Refers to the name of the magazine that you're publishing, and it took me the longest time trying to decide the font, design, colour and such. It's definitely a lot harder that I thought but I settled on 'Onna', which means 'woman' (or women) in Japanese.

So right now I'm preparing to start on my sis's poster, which is a pretty exciting project for me. Cause it's my sister and everything, and there's no way I'm going to flunk this one. Just wait sis, I'll make you a poster that will blow your heart away. Muahaha.

Unexplainable

OH GOD AHAHAHAA.

Hungry and Alone

So here I am, waiting for my 2pm flight back home to Kuching at KLIA. I'm hungry and alone, plus not to mention refused to spend my money on lunch because I planned to eat on the plane. And I'm determined to stick on my plan.

Stupid plan.

Posters

Sure, I may not be able to pursue my dream of becoming a designer, but I love all the opportunities given to me at KMS. Poster-making had been my newest passion ever since I said hello to Photoshop and GIMP, and will ever be, insya Allah. Thank you Allah for this beautiful passion :)

my newest baby :)

Splurging on Books

...Not exactly, though. I must thank the BB1M and the Big Bad Wolf book fair that enables me to browse through the massive amount of books at the fair without thinking about the price and how-limited-amount-of-money I had. But then I had such fun choosing, browsing through the books sections, where the most expensive book that I bought cost me RM5 only.

yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
And that left me with RM150 left to spend. Khilda had promised me that we will go to Kinokuniya together, to splurge some more. Can life get any sweeter? Heh :)
